BCH Employee: Suicide Prevention - Melina Dhital

Ms.Melina Dhital is a student-athlete, healthcare worker, and emerging leader at the intersection of medicine, entrepreneurship,and community care. A long-distance runner on Penn State University’s women’s cross country and track & field team, she balances rigorous academics—pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychological Sciences—with her work at UPMC. Melina is also a licensed reale state agent with Iron ValleyReal Estate. She channels her creativity through her love for photography. As a project coordinator at BCH for Project Pathway to Hope—a mental health and suicide prevention initiative—Melina brings her lived experience and trauma-informed lens to programs designed to uplift, support, and empower.Whether in medicine, media, or mentorship, she leads with intention, empathy, and an unshakable commitment to service
