BCH Employee: Research Assistant - Yamuna Karki

Yamuna Karki is a committed community health advocate with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Studies from Daemen College. She brings valuable experience working with Nepali-speaking populations in roles including Community Health Worker, Health Care Coordinator, and Medical Interpreter.

Yamuna’s work has centered on bridging cultural and language barriers in health care and providing compassionate support to immigrant families. She is skilled in patient services, community outreach, and advocacy, and looks forward to contributing her experience in culturally responsive health care to this research project.

L.B. Subba is a dedicated member of the Board of Directors at the Bhutanese Community in Harrisburg (BCH), where he brings his passion for leadership and community service to the forefront. Beyond his role with BCH, L.B. is a home-based entrepreneur and a devoted enthusiast of online business automation. With a unique blend of grassroots experience and digital savvy, he empowers others in the community to explore new economic opportunities and embrace technology as a tool for self-reliance and growth.
