The Bhutanese Community in Harrisburg is pleased to announce that Shova Ghimirey has joined our Board of Directors. As a member of the Bhutanese community herself, Shova brings both personal understanding and professional expertise to our organization.
Shova pursued studies in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Concordia College before discovering her passion for real estate. She is a licensed realtor with eXp Realty in Pennsylvania. Her impressive track record includes being recognized as a top-producing agent for 2 months in a row and helping 22+ clients in her first 2 years.
Beyond her professional success, Shova has demonstrated a deep commitment to community service. She has been a dedicated philanthropist with Habitat for Humanity, donating over $1,000 to support affordable housing initiatives. Her involvement in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program, Sanford Children, and various community organizations reflects her passion for helping others.
As a Bhutanese-American who has navigated her journey of building a successful career while maintaining strong community ties, Shova is uniquely positioned to understand the challenges and opportunities facing our community members. Her enthusiasm for supporting fellow Bhutanese families in Central Pennsylvania, combined with her expertise in real estate, marketing, and business development, makes her an invaluable addition to our board. When she's not helping families find their perfect homes, Shova enjoys dancing, content creation, cooking, going to the gym, and traveling.
