Community Center Contractors
We are offering short-term contracts to individuals or companies to redesign and implement improvements to our office space.

In-person, paid contract position. Payment will be issued upon receipt of an invoice.

Grantwriting Intern
Learn and assist with grant research, proposal writing, and reporting for nonprofit funding. No experience needed.
Remote position. Unpaid; college credit available through your academic institution.

Social Work Intern
Support case management, client services, and development of Project Surakshya, a domestic violence prevention program.
Hybrid position. Unpaid; college credit available through your academic institution.

Community Center Volunteers
We are seeking volunteers to help build and develop our community center.

In-person position. Unpaid; community service hours available for those who need them.

I did my internship as a MSW student in coordination with Lehigh University. I was involved in community-based research that included community outreach, participant recruitment, interviews, and survey data collection. Over the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to intern at BCCPA, where I supported research and community-based projects focused on mental health and social support within the Bhutanese refugee community. I gained valuable insight into community-based participatory research and strengthened my connection to my own cultural roots. As someone from the Bhutanese community, it was deeply meaningful to contribute to projects that improve mental health awareness and support systems for Bhutanese refugees. This experience has inspired me to continue pursuing work that uplifts marginalized communities and advances health equity. Thank you Tej Mishra for this opportunity!
